I resolve many problems very quickly with a systemic and minimalist approach to ethological horsemanship. That is, by observing and identifying the key issue as early as possible, often before the problematic situation arises.

* Rates to your home include additional travel expenses, which vary depending on the distance and mode of travel. Contact me for an estimate. Please also provide meals and accommodation, which can be provided by a local resident. Packages are valid for eleven months, with the FFE license at the current rate to be paid in addition.

An ethological braking-in
Personalized support for horses with complications or difficult histories.
All sessions for the horse and the owner are included for one month, depending on needs. The resolution is made with the owner. The duration depends on the time it takes to successfully create an effective, secure, and strengthened partnership.
Price: €2,500 including tax / 1 month.
(Boarding/work beyond one month: €1,000 including tax/month).
Establishing or recreating a healthy, serene, and secure bond with you and the horse at work is essential to my approach. Sessions with you and your horse are included in the time together to ensure you leave with reusable tools that allow you to better understand each other and move forward together in your shared activities.
Boarding in a paddock or pasture, with hay or grass depending on the season. Specialized feed is additionally payable by you. I prefer to accommodate horses without shoes.
Some examples of problem solving:
Refusal to be transported, difficulty being haltered or approached, aggressive horse that attacks its owner, refusal to be saddled, no motion at the mounting block, impossible to treat, throws its rider off at a gallop, pushes to the ground, pulls the lead rope in a circle or in hand, etc.

Quality lessons where Barbara listens to each person’s needs in order to harmonize the rider/horse relationship. She allows me to reassure myself at my own pace after 20 years without riding. She understands my apprehensions and helps me overcome them.
For my daughter, she has allowed her to considerably improve her level and to listen to her requests, which at 11 years old were already very precise. Barbara takes the time and understands the needs of each person, even in group lessons (polocross). She knows how to detect the needs of each rider and give them an area for improvement, all in harmony with the horses. It’s quite an impressive approach and in a good mood, which makes for excellent moments of sharing. In short, we highly recommend her.

I met Barbara when I was terrified of my mare, who was aggressive and probably misunderstood. Meeting her completely changed my vision of riding and my way of interacting with horses. Thanks to her advice and groundwork sessions, I learned to understand and observe my horse, overcoming my fears and becoming a better owner. I managed to create a real relationship with my mare, both on the ground and on the horse. Beyond working with the horse, she also allowed me to make a lot of progress on myself, particularly in managing my emotions and anxieties. Six years later, Barbara continues to support me in my progress and help me improve my relationship with my horse. We have come a long way, going from fear, to work in liberty, to beach rides and polocrosse tournaments! I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for me and my mare.
